I was born at home with a help of a midwife. I had 3 older sisters and one brother.

Three weeks later I was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis. My mom being a Registered Nurse (RN) knew the seriousness of my disease and challenges that would come with it.

Choosing very early on that a preventative and natural way to treat CF was in my best interest, my parents started on a journey that I believe saved my life, hopes and dreams for a great future...

Growing Up

My family moved from the big city of Calgary, Alberta to a small farm stead in Manitoba.  A few months after the move my dad bought goats! It was then that my younger 2 sisters (with CF) and my health started changing for the better.

We added Fish Oils to our daily regimen.  At that time the only other pills we were taking were Creon 10 Enzymes (5-7 with meals).

When I was 8 we discovered I had Nasal Polyps, I've since had 7 surgeries.  6 Surgeries from when I was 8 - 14 and the last when I was 19.

My dad sold the goats when I was 13 for financial reasons and my parents started praying for something to help us CF girls even more.

I was hospitalized for the first time since I was a baby when I was 14, I had bronchitis and I could feel my health deteriorating.  A few weeks after I got out of the hospital a friend of my parents let them know about a non-profit organization that helps medically fragile children receive good quality food supplements and that it had helped others with CF. 

That information quite literally saved my life and it's made a huge difference in my life, I no longer take Creon enzymes and my quality of life is great!

I was able to join Tae Kwon Do when I was 15 and after 3 years I had my red belt.

How precious also are they thoughts unto me, O God! how great is the sum of them!  18. If I should them, they are more in number then the sand: when I awake, I am still with thee.

Throughout my life, no matter what, Jesus is only one who has always been there and I can't imagine my life without him. Without the prayers of family and friends to help guide my parents to do what they did for my health, I simply do not believe I would be here on this earth.
